Many online book stores list an ebook along with the hard copy of the book for sale. The ebook can be read using a ebook reader available.
The advantages of buying a ebook are:
1. Faster delivery
2. Can be stored electronically
Unfortunately for most popular books there does not seem to be much difference in the cost of the printed version and ebook version.
